The website is available at – During the march, individuals with mobile devices will be able to use the geolocation features of the website to determine the areas of significance in their immediate vicinity. Just click “yes” to allow the site to “access your location” when prompted.

March Conclusion (Speakers at Hood)

  • Please feel free to bring a blanket to sit on during the program at the College – you may also bring a lawn chair but will need to carry it during the march
  • Please note there will be limited, invitation only seating for designated guests during the program
  • Most of us will be sitting or standing like the marchers who stood and listened to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and others on August 28, 1963
  • The program is expected to last until early afternoon, at which point we hope attendees will be inspired to return downtown to visit the shops, museums and restaurants who are partnering with us throughout the September 26-28 weekend series of events
